Using the service

By using NameByStars, you agree to use the website lawfully and to read these terms together with the Privacy Policy and Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not submit personalized information or rely on the tools.

The service is provided as a general information resource. Availability, corpus coverage, calculation coverage, and individual page content may change as records are corrected or expanded.

Informational and cultural content

Name meanings, pronunciations, gender usage, cultural associations, astrology, and numerology can differ by language, region, family, spelling, script, and school of interpretation. A record is a researched summary, not an official ruling on how a person must use a name.

Personalized results are interpretive guidance. They are not professional medical, legal, financial, psychological, fertility, relationship, or investment advice and do not guarantee future events.

Your input and share links

You are responsible for entering information you are entitled to use and for checking its accuracy. Do not submit another person's birth details without an appropriate reason and permission.

When you generate a share link, you choose to encode permitted input fields into a signed URL. You are responsible for deciding who receives that link and for deleting it from messages or posts when it is no longer needed.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the service, bypass security limits, scrape at a rate that harms availability, inject malicious content, impersonate another person, or use the site to make discriminatory or harmful claims about a person based on a name or birth profile.

  • Use search, result, and sitemap endpoints at a reasonable rate.
  • Do not present a NameByStars score as scientific certification or guaranteed prediction.
  • Do not remove uncertainty labels when quoting a disputed meaning.

Limitations and changes

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without a promise that every record, transliteration, geocode, timezone, ephemeris boundary, or interpretation is error-free. Verify important legal spellings and professional decisions through suitable official or expert sources.

We may revise these terms to reflect service, legal, or security changes. The review date on this page identifies the published version.
